Daisy Edgar-Jones, known for her role as Marianne in Hulu's acclaimed drama "Normal People," delighted fans with a nostalgic reunion at Glastonbury Festival.
The actress took to Instagram on Monday to share a series of snapshots from the music extravaganza, including a notable photo featuring her alongside co-star Paul Mescal.
The duo, who shot to fame for their portrayals of the complex characters, were captured in a candid moment, smiling and enjoying drinks together.
Based on Sally Rooney's bestselling novel, "Normal People" chronicled the tumultuous romance between Marianne and Connell (played by Mescal). Since the series' debut in 2020, both actors have maintained a strong off-screen friendship, often sharing glimpses of their camaraderie on social media.
Their recent appearance at Glastonbury is just one in a series of public reunions that have endeared them further to their dedicated fan base.
Earlier in June, Edgar-Jones and Mescal reunited for a charity screening of "Normal People" in London, where Mescal expressed optimism about the characters' enduring connection.
"My hope for those characters has changed as it’s come along," Mescal revealed during the event. "I feel like no matter what’s gonna happen with them… ultimately when the crows come back to nest, they will land into each other."
Both actors have continued to thrive professionally post-"Normal People."
Edgar-Jones starred in several notable films, including "Where the Crawdads Sing" and "Fresh," while Mescal earned an Oscar nomination for his role in "Aftersun" and is set to appear in Ridley Scott's highly anticipated sequel, "Gladiator II."
