The "Redbone" singer has announced the release date for his forthcoming album "Bando Stone & The New World". The album will drop on July 19 via RCA Records, and to celebrate, Glover has released the first single "Lithonia".

The album follows the release of a complete version of his 2020 album "3.15.20" called "Atavista", which dropped May 13. Glover has also announced his long-awaited world tour, which kicks off in the U.S. on August 11 and wraps in Chicago on October 3.

At the BET Awards on June 30, Glover premiered the movie trailer for "Bando Stone & The New World", a post-apocalyptic film in which he plays a musician who finds himself alone before meeting a woman and her son.

Glover also took the stage to honor Usher, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed an acapella version of the R&B superstar's hit "U Don't Have to Call". He also presented Killer Mike with the album of the year award, but not before expressing his frustration with the lack of BET Awards he has received.
