LAHORE:

The LHC’s election tribunal on Tuesday ordered the ECP to provide Form 45 related to the victory of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in the general elections.

Lawyers representing the Punjab CM opposed the petition, arguing that it was inadmissible. The ECP’s lawyer requested additional time to present the original Form-45 records. Accepting the request, the tribunal postponed hearing until the last week of July.

Meanwhile, the tribunal also heard petition challenging the victory notification of Federal Minister Aleem Khan. The court granted the ECP’s lawyer additional time to present the necessary records.
