Julia Roberts stirred up a storm among Taylor Swift fans when she was seen engaging in a friendly interaction with NFL star Travis Kelce at Swift's Eras Tour concert in Dublin.

Kelce, known for his prowess as the Chiefs' tight end, joined Roberts in the VIP area, where they enjoyed Swift's performance together.

A viral video captured Roberts lightly touching Kelce's shoulders and sharing a seemingly jovial conversation. At one point, Roberts playfully tickled Kelce, who reciprocated by rubbing her arm with a smile.

However, some of Swift's devoted fans, known as Swifties, expressed discomfort over the interaction, interpreting Roberts' actions as overly familiar given Kelce's relationship with Swift.

One fan on social media voiced concern that Kelce appeared visibly uncomfortable during the interaction, suggesting Roberts was being overly physical. Another commenter questioned Roberts' intentions, pointing out Kelce's relationship status and his discomfort.

Defenders of Roberts argued that she may have been treating Kelce in a maternal manner, considering their significant age gap. Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, had flown thousands of miles to support Swift during her European tour, highlighting their close relationship despite physical separation.

Kelce and Swift recently made headlines for their on-stage appearance together at Wembley Stadium, where they surprised fans with a well-received performance. The couple had also attended the Cannes Lions Festival before Kelce's Dublin detour for his teammate's wedding.

The interaction between Roberts and Kelce has sparked debates online about boundaries and perceptions in public interactions, especially concerning public figures and their personal lives.
