SZA thrilled fans with an exciting announcement during her performance at Hyde Park on Saturday night, revealing that her next album, titled ‘Lana,’ will be arriving soon.

"New album, you ready?" she asked the crowd before performing an unreleased song. Following the show, SZA shared a clip of the track on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, "I know you told stories about me. most of them awful. All of them true. Here’s some for u," which are lyrics from the eagerly-awaited song.

Despite the announcement, social media users are cautiously optimistic.

One fan responded to the news on Pop Crave's post with, "I’ll believe it when the album drops. No more getting excited to be cussed out about being excited."

Another added, "I’ll believe it when I see it."

This hesitation stems from previous delays and leaks that have plagued the project, initially planned as a deluxe version of her album "SOS" but evolving into a full-length effort.

The announcement of ‘Lana’ comes shortly after SZA received the prestigious Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, an honor she described as validating her career.

Previous recipients include John Legend, Ne-Yo, Drake, Lil Nas X, and Post Malone.

While fans eagerly await the album’s release date, SZA continues to shine on stage.

She is set to close out this year’s Glastonbury Festival, headlining the Pyramid Stage on Sunday.

Known for hits like "Good Days," "Snooze," "All The Stars," and "Shirt," SZA has become a significant figure in the music industry, culminating in her being the most nominated act at the 2024 Grammys with nine nominations.

SZA’s rapid rise to fame began with early EPs "See.SZA.Run" and "S," but her 2017 debut album "Ctrl" solidified her presence in the music world.

Her single "Kill Bill" from her second album "SOS" skyrocketed to the top of the charts in 2022, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and number three on the UK Singles Chart.

Meanwhile, British rock band Coldplay made history at Glastonbury by headlining the Pyramid Stage for the fifth time.

Their performance included guest appearances from Little Simz and a touching moment with Michael J. Fox, who joined them on stage to play the guitar during "Fix You."

Coldplay's set featured hits like "Yellow," "Clocks," "The Scientist," and "Higher Power," and they concluded with their new single "feelslikeimfallinginlove" from their upcoming album "Moon Music," set for release on October 4.
