Zac Efron, known for his role as Chris Cole in Netflix's A Family Affair, filmed a fictional interview for Hot Ones with Sean Evans, which won't be seen by audiences.

In the film, Efron's character, Chris Cole, embarks on a journey through the highs and lows of stardom, including a staged appearance on the popular YouTube series Hot Ones.

Richard LaGravenese, the director of the film, revealed in an interview with TheWrap that they had shot a full episode of Hot Ones featuring Zac Efron. However, due to time constraints and pacing concerns, this segment didn't make it into the final cut of the movie.

Hot Ones, hosted by Sean Evans, is renowned for its candid and spicy interviews where celebrities answer questions while eating progressively hotter chicken wings. For Efron's portrayal of Chris Cole, the Hot Ones interview was intended to underscore his character's rise to fame within the narrative of A Family Affair.

LaGravenese expressed admiration for the collaborative effort put into filming the Hot Ones segment, describing it as a lively and enjoyable experience. He emphasized the logistical challenges of integrating such a detailed sequence into the film's broader storyline.

A Family Affair, currently available for streaming on Netflix, stars Joey King as Zara Ford, an ambitious assistant to Chris Cole (Efron), whose career ambitions become entangled when Cole begins a romantic relationship with Zara's mother, portrayed by Nicole Kidman.
