Prison Patrons: Water filtration plant for jail

The plant has been set up to help provide potable drinking water for inmates.

SIALKOT:
A water filtration plant has been established in the Sialkot district jail in active cooperation with the local exporters and philanthropists. The plant has been set up to help provide potable drinking water for inmates. District jail Superintendent Asad Warraich told reporters that several local exporters and philanthropists had donated an advanced X-ray machine and ECG machine to the jail’s hospital as well. He said that Sialkot exporters had paid millions of rupees as Diyat for several prisoners and got them freed from jail after they were being held for non-payment of their fines.
