Officials inspect water drainage

Lahore Commissioner Zaid Bin Maqsood, LDA Director General Tahir Farooq and WASA Managing Director Ghufran Ahmad inspected the catchment areas, Qartaba Chowk, Lakshmi Chowk, important boulevards and various underpasses across the city following the rain on Saturday.

The commissioner directed the officials concerned to take prompt measures to clear all side ponding points of all boulevards along with special measures for water drainage from the catchment areas. He ordered the checking of all the heavy machinery and equipment and keeping them on standby.
