Justin Timberlake took a break from his tour this week to enjoy a round of golf in lower Manhattan on Thursday, June 27.

The 43-year-old singer, known for hits like "Mirrors," was casually dressed in a vintage Grateful Dead t-shirt, blue basketball shorts, a baseball hat, and sunglasses as he headed to the golf course with a friend.

Golfing is a favorite leisure activity for Timberlake, who recently participated in a celebrity game at the PGA Tour’s 2023 World Wide Technology Championship in Mexico. He also co-owns a sports bar in New York City with golf champion Tiger Woods.

Timberlake performed consecutive shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City this week and is scheduled to continue his Forget Tomorrow World Tour at Boston’s TD Garden on June 29 and 30.

These performances come after Timberlake’s recent arrest on June 18 in Long Island, where he was charged with DWI by Sag Harbor police after an evening at the American Hotel with friends.

According to Timberlake's arrest report, obtained by PEOPLE, an officer observed his BMW fail to stop at a sign and drive on the wrong side of the road during routine patrol.

The officer initiated a traffic stop and claimed that Timberlake's "eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests."
