Dua Lipa faces security scare after TikToker tries to record her Glastonbury rehearsals
Dua Lipa is getting ready to deliver a memorable performance on Friday night as she performs on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage for the first time.
Over the last several days, the Grammy-winning singer has been staying in a rehearsal space in Birmingham, practicing her routines with a team of dancers.
But things nearly went awry when a disruptive TikTok user attempted to cause trouble.
Sources revealed how the person entered the site and attempted to enter the rehearsal space while recording, later posting the attempt on social media.
The individual was spotted and instructed to leave, prompting security to tighten the set's security measures.
A source reported, “Dua has been working so hard for the past few days to perfect her set for Glastonbury. Her team saw off this person when they arrived on site on Friday.
“They made a total prat of themselves by trying to film and it was all rather embarrassing."
“Some of Dua’s team spoke to them and asked them to clear off. She was inside so luckily missed all the hullabaloo. Nothing is going to knock her off course this weekend. Dua can’t wait to show Glastonbury what she has been working on.”
The superstar's performance at Glastonbury will start what promises to be an amazing weekend of live music, featuring headliners Coldplay, SZA, and the legendary Shania Twain.
Sources also indicate that discussions were underway for Cyndi Lauper to join Dua Lipa onstage, possibly alongside Chris Martin, who might take a break from his annual volunteering to make an appearance.
Other noteworthy artists scheduled to perform include The Streets, Charli XCX, and Russell Crowe, making their debut at Worthy Farm.
