The viral "Hawk Tuah" girl, Hailey Welch, is reportedly in talks to capitalise on her newfound fame as major Hollywood talent agencies vie to represent her.
Rather than shying away, Welch sees an opportunity to monetise her viral moment.
According to TMZ, Welch has not yet signed with any talent agency, though she is already selling merchandise, including hats and jumpers, featuring the phrase "hawk tuah and spit on that thang." United Talent Agency is among the prominent names interested in representing Welch, but they have denied any official partnership so far.
Additionally, Welch has secured a deal with Tennessee-based company Fathead Threads to sell various merchandise with her famous phrase. She has been autographing the hats, which sell for $43 each, and she receives a percentage of the profits.
The 'Hawk Tuah' phenomenon began when YouTubers Tim & Dee TV posted a street interview on June 11, featuring a girl who responded to an NSFW question with a humorous Southern accent, saying, "Oh, you gotta give him that hawk tuah and spit on that thang! You get me?"
