A source told The Mirror that there were noticeable empty seats just before the show, despite the venue's history of sold-out performances by artists like Harry Styles and Elton John.

However, Justin's devoted fans remained unfazed, with one insider noting that his recent legal trouble "doesn't change their perception of him" and they still see him as flawless.

By 9 PM, when Timberlake took the stage, the arena was alive with excitement from his fans.

Concerns about the concert's attendance were amplified by reports that Timberlake was worried about how his arrest might affect his tour. 

According to The Post, an insider mentioned that the arresting officer did not recognize the star, who was overheard expressing fears about the potential impact on his tour.

During a prior show in Chicago, Timberlake addressed the incident, telling his audience at United Center Stadium, "It's been a tough week. I know I'm hard to love sometimes, but you keep loving me right back."

The former boyband member landed in trouble after being stopped by police for a traffic violation. According to a press release from The Sag Harbor Police Department, Timberlake's 2025 BMW was pulled over for running a stop sign and failing to stay within his lane.

It was later revealed that he was allegedly driving under the influence.
