Lupita Nyong'o shines at A Quiet Place: Day One Premiere in sequined ensemble

Actress Lupita Nyong'o dazzled at the premiere of 'A Quiet Place: Day One' in New York City, stepping onto the red carpet in a striking black sequined jumpsuit with a flowing skirt and train.

Nyong'o, 41, stars in the latest instalment of the sci-fi/horror franchise directed by Michael Sarnoski, sharing the screen with Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou, and Denis O'Hare. 

Her ensemble made a bold statement against the backdrop of co-star Joseph Quinn's cream suit. Completing her look were a vibrant red lipstick and dangling diamond earrings.

In a recent Glamour interview, Nyong'o expressed her fondness for red carpet events despite her aversion to shopping, stating, "I love red carpets. You get to be Cinderella for a night." 

She also shared her excitement about the film, describing it as an "innovative" and "tense" addition to the franchise.

'A Quiet Place: Day One' serves as a prequel to the 2018 hit film, exploring the chilling world where silence is key to survival. 

John Krasinski, who starred in and directed the first two films, including his wife Emily Blunt, takes on a producer role for the latest installment.

The highly anticipated film is set to hit theaters nationwide on Friday, June 28, promising fans another thrilling dive into the gripping universe created by Krasinski.
