Michael Jackson remembered: Family pays tribute on 15th anniversary of his death
Fifteen years after the untimely death of Michael Jackson at the age of 50, his family continues to honor his memory with moving tributes.
Prince Jackson, Michael's 27-year-old son, expressed his longing on Instagram, posting "Miss you pops. The world felt better with you in it" alongside a memorable photo of his father surrounded by young singers.
La Toya Jackson, Michael's sister, also took to Instagram to remember her brother.
She shared a slideshow featuring iconic images of the pop legend, accompanied by his 1993 track "Gone Too Soon."
Her caption read, "You changed the world with such exuberant talent in many ways!!! We love you! We will always miss you!" adding, "Gone too soon! I miss you and I will always love you."
Tito Jackson, Michael's brother and former bassist for the Jackson 5, marked the anniversary with a nostalgic black-and-white photo of Michael, using hashtags like "#15 years without michael jackson," "#gone too soon," "#always in our hearts," and "#miss you much" to express his feelings.
Jackie Jackson, another member of the Jackson 5, reflected on the passage of time, posting, "Hard to believe it's been 15 years without you," along with a photo of himself and a young Michael, noting, "We miss you every day."
Tito’s son, TJ Jackson, shared a personal note on his Instagram, writing, "I miss you so much Uncle Michael. Thank you for all you did for me. I will always feel like the luckiest nephew to have you as an eternal source of strength, guidance and love. I love you forever."
The legacy of Michael Jackson is also set to be immortalized in film with the upcoming biopic titled ‘Michael’, directed by Antoine Fuqua and slated for release in 2025.
The role of Michael will be portrayed by his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, son of Jackson 5 member Jermaine Jackson, adding a family touch to the portrayal of the pop icon.
