Cardi B is already thinking about her third album.
The 31-year-old Grammy winner told fans on June 24 that she has plans for her third album following the release of her much-anticipated sophomore LP, which still doesn't have a release date.
On Sunday, June 23, the rapper posted an Instagram Story where she sang along to her collaboration with Peso Pluma, "Put Em in the Fridge."
In the Story, she asked followers if they would be interested in a Spanish language album from her. Almost 480,000 people voted, with 79%—over 380,120 voters—supporting the idea.
The next day, she reposted the poll results to her Stories and wrote, "OK AFTER MY ENGLISH ALBUM."
Fans are eager for her third project to potentially be in Spanish, but they have been anxiously awaiting the follow-up to her Grammy-winning 2018 debut, “Invasion of Privacy.”
Since her debut, Cardi B has released several chart-topping singles and numerous collaborations but has remained secretive about details regarding her sophomore album.
Recently, in May, she shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that despite her previous announcement of a 2024 album release, that plan has changed.
She wrote, "anyway NO album this year I don't care I'm relaxing this year ..Dropping these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer."
