Tanushree Dutta labels Nana Patekar ‘habitual liar’ amid harassment allegations
Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta has accused fellow actor Nana Patekar of being a habitual liar, reigniting the controversy over her 2008 harassment allegations.
In a recent statement, Dutta criticised Patekar's denial of the harassment claims, describing him as fearful and dishonest.
"Everyone knows how big of a liar Nana Patekar is. In 2008, he slapped a boy on set and later dismissed it as part of a scene after public backlash.
"He apologized half-heartedly only after massive criticism," Dutta remarked.
Dutta's allegations date back to 2008 when she accused Patekar of sexually harassing her during a film shoot.
She now claims that Patekar is aware of her plans to file another FIR against him for conspiracy to murder, criminal intimidation, and physical harm.
"Patekar is scared because he knows I'm considering further legal action against him," Dutta said.
She added that Patekar's support within Bollywood has dwindled, with many distancing themselves from the veteran actor.
Dutta's recent comments come after Patekar denied the harassment allegations in a recent interview.
The ongoing dispute continues to highlight issues of harassment and accountability in the film industry.
