Kim Kardashian's fans compare her new hairstyle to the Founding Fathers of America

This is not the first time Kim Kardashian has surprised fans with a dramatic hair change.

Kim Kardashian’s fans believe that her latest hairstyle draws inspiration from America’s Founding Fathers.

The 43-year-old Skims founder showcased her new look on Instagram on June 23.

In a series of photos, Kardashian’s platinum blonde hair was styled into basket braid pigtails. The reality TV star appeared makeup-free, complementing her braids with a sheer tank top and nude leggings.

Although the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” alum is known for her avant-garde and futuristic fashion choices, some fans thought her latest hairstyle resembled an 18th-century powdered wig.

“Ok George Washington,” another fan joked.

Kardashian’s intricate braids were created by her longtime hairstylist Chris Appleton, whom she mentioned in her Instagram post. Appleton also shared photos of Kardashian’s basket braids on his Instagram, captioning them with three silver chain link emojis.

This is not the first time the mother of four has surprised fans with a dramatic hair change. 

In 2015, Kardashian revealed her now-iconic bleach blonde hair for the first time at Paris Fashion Week. The Kardashians star alternated between her natural dark brown hair and blonde for several years before undergoing a 14-hour transformation to emulate Marilyn Monroe at the 2022 Met Gala.
