Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly feeling disappointed over Taylor Swift’s interaction with Prince William and his children – after Markle herself was previously rejected.

Over the weekend, Prince William took Prince George and Princess Charlotte to the first of Swift's three-night Eras Tour concerts in London. The royal trio enjoyed the performance and even took selfies with the singer.

Swift expressed her gratitude to the Prince of Wales for attending, thanking her "m8" for bringing his family to the event.

Meghan Markle had previously extended an invitation to American superstar Taylor Swift to appear on an episode of her now-defunct Spotify podcast, Archetype.

However, the Duchess of Sussex faced disappointment as the international idol reportedly declined the offer.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, speaking to GB News, claimed that Taylor Swift’s rejection was due to her allegiance to the Wales family.

Schofield noted that Swift had previously refused an invitation from Markle despite the Duchess personally reaching out with a handwritten letter.

Schofield said: "Now, remember, Meghan Markle had requested for Taylor to be her podcast. She wrote her a handwritten letter and Taylor's team rejected it. Meghan also later released through People magazine that she had spent some time at a Taylor Swift concert.

“So I think we are seeing our Taylor side with Team Wales here over the last few hours. Also, you know, a lot of people pointing out the pictures of Meghan and Harry at the Beyoncé concert, where Harry looks pretty miserable versus Prince William shaking his tail feathers at the Taylor Swift concert.

“You're just seeing that Prince William is pursuing joy. And I think that is important."

This incident follows a pattern of high-profile rejections and public appearances that contrast the Sussexes with the Waleses. The images of Prince William and his children enjoying Swift's concert highlighted the perceived divide, with commentators noting the difference in public persona and engagements.
