Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick show up MaXXXine premiere with their children

Kevin Bacon turned the world premiere of MaXXXine into a fun family outing.

The 65-year-old actor attended the red carpet event at California's TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday, June 24, with his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, and their children, Travis, 35, and Sosie, 32.

This horror film is the third and apparently final installment in writer-director Ti West's X franchise, following the successful releases of 2022’s X and Pearl. Bacon stars alongside Mia Goth, Elizabeth Debicki of The Crown, Moses Sumney from The Idol, Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito, Halsey, and Lily Collins.

At the premiere, Bacon sported a pale orange suit paired with a beige collared shirt and oversized sunglasses. His wife, with whom he has been married for over three decades, wore a black leather mini dress and black sheer tights.

Travis coordinated with his mother, donning an all-black outfit, while Sosie chose a printed oversized t-shirt paired with black cowboy boots.

According to the official description, MaXXXine is set in the 1980s and follows an older Maxine (played by Goth) as she pursues an acting career in Los Angeles, encountering plenty of bloodshed along the way.

Goth told Variety, "It's the best script of the three by far. It's going to be the best movie of the three. It's the biggest story of the three with the highest stakes and Maxine has gone through so much at this point. So when we find her in this new world, she's just a force to be reckoned with and she goes through some pretty wild adventures."

MaXXXine is set to release in July.
