The stage is set for an exhilarating semi-final round of the T20 World Cup 2024, with the final four teams ready to battle it out in the West Indies for a place in the prestigious final, scheduled to take place in Barbados on June 29.

India clinched their semi-final berth by outplaying Australia with a 24-run victory, joining England and South Africa, who had previously secured their spots. Notably, both India and South Africa have sailed through the tournament without a single defeat, while England's only loss came against Australia during the group stage.

In a remarkable turn of events, Afghanistan surpassed expectations by defeating Bangladesh in their final Super 8 match. This victory marked Afghanistan's first-ever appearance in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup, adding a historic chapter to their cricketing journey.

The semi-final action will kick off on June 27, with South Africa facing Afghanistan at 5:30 AM PST at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago. The second semi-final will see India go head-to-head with England at 7:30 PM PST at the Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana, setting the stage for a high-stakes confrontation between two of the sport's heavyweights.
