Shane McMahon to join AEW?

Shane McMahon has been the subject of recent rumours suggesting he might appear in AEW, given his lack of current WWE commitments. 

According to PWMania.com, Shane McMahon contacted several AEW roster members, expressing interest in joining the company in some capacity. 

However, AEW President Tony Khan clarified to F4WOnline.com that he has never interacted with Shane McMahon.

Fightful Select reported that Shane McMahon's return to WWE seems unlikely. His name has not been discussed at a high level within the company, and it was not a topic of conversation in AEW until Jim Ross mentioned it. 

Vince McMahon had reportedly told a few individuals before his departure from WWE that Shane would not get another opportunity in the company after a contentious incident at the 2022 Royal Rumble.
