Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha made a memorable statement on her wedding day by adorning her mother’s 44-year-old saree, adding a touch of nostalgia and elegance to the occasion.
At her reception, Sonakshi wowed everyone by wearing a stunning red Banarasi saree. The saree's price left fans astonished, as it was reportedly worth INR79,800.

On June 23, Sonakshi celebrated her wedding in an intimate ceremony at her home, attended by her parents and a few close friends. However, her two brothers were absent from the event.
According to Indian media reports, Sonakshi chose to wear her mother’s off-white saree from her big day. Complementing the saree, she also wore her mother’s vintage diamond jewellery, adding to the sentimental value of her ensemble.
However, Groom Zaheer Iqbal opted for a traditional white shalwar kameez instead of an expensive sherwani.
Following the wedding ceremony, the couple hosted a dinner reception at a local restaurant in Mumbai, that was graced by numerous Bollywood stars and other notable personalities.
