MITHI:

A suicide incident was declared murder by domestic violence by the heirs of the victim, Jasuda Darzi, a married woman who was found dead at her home in a Mithi neighbourhood few days ago.

Police on Sunday registered a murder case against the husband, brother-in-law and mother-in-law of a woman on the complaint of her brother.

Police took action after the Bilawal House spokesperson PPP MPA Surendar Valasai took notice of the incident. A few days ago, a married woman named Jasuda Darzi was found dead in a Mithi neighbourhood. Her in-laws declared it a suicide.

However, Jasuda’s parents and siblings claimed she was killed by her husband and his family. They also staged a protest and pressed upon their representative MPA Valasai to take up the matter with the higher authorities.

Subsequently, the local police had to convert the suicide incident into a murder case. The Mithi police registered a case of murder against Jasuda’s husband Raja Heraish, brother-in-law Rajaish and mother-in-law Bibi Darzi on the complaint of Jasuda’s brother Manoj Kumar.

Jasuda’s family told Daily Express that they were sitting at the Mithi police station for the last two days but the cops were not listening to them due to the political affiliation of the suspects.
