Daisy Ridley experiences encounter with her Star Wars character Rey at Disneyland

Daisy Ridley, the actress who brought Rey to life in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, recently had a unique experience at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens star encountered the theme park performer who portrays Rey in the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area of the park.

Ridley shared photos on her Instagram story of the encounter, calling it "Surrealist!" She also praised her tour guide, Philander, for being the "best Disneyland tour guide there ever was."
 

This memorable visit to Disneyland comes as Ridley prepares to reprise her role as Rey in a new Star Wars film directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

In a recent Happy Sad Confused podcast interview, Ridley also reflected on the mixed reactions to the final installment of the sequel trilogy, The Rise of Skywalker, admitting that the fan backlash was still upsetting.
