Bobbi Althoff spotted with YG in Compton after Kendrick Lamar’s Juneteenth show
Bobbi Althoff made an unexpected stop in Compton to hang out with YG following Kendrick Lamar's Pop Out show on Juneteenth.
In a video clip from her visit, the media personality and podcaster was seen laughing with Compton locals on Instagram Stories. At one point, someone in the video encouraged Althoff to say the Blood phrase "what's brackin?"
"Aye, y'all gon' scare her away, Blood," another person in the video says.
Social media is buzzing with speculation that Althoff was in town for Kendrick's "Not Like Us" video shoot.
YG, also a Compton native, was a guest performer during Kendrick's historic show in Inglewood, adding fuel to the rumors.
Fans might remember that Drake, Kendrick's current rap rival, was one of Althoff's first major interviews.
However, the two seemed to have a falling out when they unfollowed each other on Instagram and their interview was mysteriously removed from YouTube.
On Keke Palmer's podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, Althoff quipped, "I guess we'll never know," when asked why she and Drake unfollowed each other on Instagram.
She confirmed that they had been in contact and described the 6 God as a "very nice person."
After interviewing stars like Drake, Saweetie, Lil Yachty, and Offset, fans are wondering if Kendrick or YG might be the next rapper to sit in Althoff's hot seat.
Alternatively, some believe Kendrick could be gathering all of Drake's rivals for his highly anticipated visual to accompany the new West Coast anthem "Not Like Us." Only time will tell what’s next.
Drake has remained mostly silent about Kendrick Lamar's recent activities, except for a possible message in an Instagram Story directed at his head of security and OVO member, Chubbs.
