City likely to receive light showers today

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted chances of light rain or drizzle in the city on Sunday (today) while temperature may soar to 40 degrees Celsius on Monday.

On Saturday, the port city remained hot and humid with temperature soaring to 37 degrees Celsius.

The day began with a minimum temperature of 30.5 degrees Celsius, with humidity peaking at 73 per cent, whereas the weather felt hotter than recorded temperatures due to low wind speeds and intense sunlight.
