Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, recently hosted a lavish dinner party in Paris, spending over $50,000.
The rapper, known for his extravagant lifestyle, organized the event during fashion week, drawing significant attention alongside his wife Bianca Censori, who stunned onlookers with her daring outfits.
According to The Sun U.S., the exclusive dinner took place in a private apartment in the Quartier Saint Germain des Pres, attended by around 30 guests, including friends, French collaborators, and industry contacts from music and sports. "Ye loves to be a great host," a planner familiar with his events told The Sun U.S.
No expense was spared, with over $40,000 spent on fine wine alone. The selection included five bottles of Pinot Noir at $3,950 each, ten Bordeaux bottles costing $1,000 each, and $7,440 worth of Dom Perignon champagne. The planner noted that Ye "always asks for the top meats and products" when in town, and this event was no exception to his usual high standards.
In a previous instance, Ye reportedly paid renowned Italian chef Massimo Bottura $150,000 to host a party in Italy, highlighting his penchant for extravagant dining experiences.
