Metallica concert coming to Fortnite

Metallica's virtual concert ‘Fuel. Fire. Fury.’ is set to rock Fortnite over two days starting June 22.

A virtual concert by legendary thrash metal band Metallica, titled "Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury.," is set to take place in Fortnite starting June 22, 2024. The two-day event will feature six different showtimes, with three scheduled each day. This collaboration follows the start of Fortnite’s Season 4 on June 13, where Metallica’s members—James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo—are featured as the Icons of the season.

The concert will allow players to journey through six of Metallica’s fan-favorite songs, with gameplay that matches the intensity of the music. According to Fortnite, players can expect an immersive experience as active participants in the concert.

The schedule for "Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury." is as follows:

  • June 22, 2024: 2 PM ET (11:30 PM IST), 5 PM ET (2:30 AM IST, June 23), 11 PM ET (8:30 AM IST, June 23)

  • June 23, 2024: 10 AM ET (7:30 PM IST), 2 PM ET (11:30 PM IST), 5 PM ET (2:30 AM IST, June 24)

To watch the concert, players should go to Fortnite’s Discover screen at any of the listed times. The concert is expected to last 30 minutes, and songs like Metallica’s "Fuel" and "Enter Sandman" are anticipated to be part of the setlist. Fortnite advises, “Choose a time that works best with a party of up to four! Just catch one of the shows so you can finally sleep with both eyes closed.”

Previous artists featured in Fortnite concerts include Marshmallow, Eminem, Lady Gaga, and The Weeknd.
