Rich tributes paid to Benazir Bhutto on her birthday

Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti on Friday said Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had always played an important role for the promotion of democratic values in the country.

Addressing a cake-cutting ceremony at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Benazir Bhutto’s birth anniversary, he said Shaheed BB had always kept public service the aim of her politics. She was the first woman prime minister of Pakistan who had strengthened the public service mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, he said.

He called Shaheed BB’s role a beacon for all politicians and women and said his government would keep her mission in mind as its motto of democracy and public service. Provincial Ministers including Sardar Sarfraz Domki, Mir Ali Madad Jatak, Mir Sadiq Umrani and Asfandyar Kakar, party General Secretary Rozi Khan and other leaders were also present on the occasion. CM Sarfraz Bugti and provincial ministers also paid rich tributes to Benazir Bhutto and prayed for the elevation of her rank in Jannah.
