Rural areas of Sindh, including Chhoor and Mithi, also faced intense heat, recording temperatures up to 41 degrees Celsius. The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts continued hot and humid weather for the next three days, with morning humidity possibly reaching 70-80% and evening humidity 50-60%.
The Early Warning Centre of the Meteorological Depart-ment forecasts the possibility of rain, accompanied by gusty winds and thundershowers, in Karachi's suburbs from afternoon to evening today.

According to the Weather Updates, a non-governmental weather analysis organisation, there is a good chance of thunder cells forming in the northern and northwestern areas of Karachi on June 22 and 23. These weather patterns are likely to affect suburbs such as Gadap, Surjani Town, Dumba Goth, Malir, and areas near the airport, potentially bringing rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds.
There's a 50% chance these thunderstorms may also impact central parts of the city if they intensify.
