Justin Timberlake's court date for Hamptons DWI clashes with European Tour
Justin Timberlake, 43, will be in Europe during his upcoming court date related to his recent arrest for alleged driving while intoxicated.
The Grammy winner was pulled over and taken into custody on Long Island, New York, after leaving The American Hotel in Sag Harbor on June 18.
The scheduled court appearance is set for July 26, coinciding with Timberlake's “Forget Tomorrow World Tour” stop at the Tauron Arena in Kraków, Poland.
However, PEOPLE has confirmed that the hearing will be conducted virtually, with Timberlake's attorney representing him instead of the "Better Place" singer attending personally.
According to a source, Justin Timberlake was arrested in the morning of June 18 after spending time socializing with friends at The American Hotel. The insider emphasized that no one was injured during the incident.
Timberlake faces charges including one count of driving while intoxicated (DWI), along with citations for running a stop sign and failing to stay within his lane.
Police issued a statement later in the day, "On June 18, 2024, at 12:37 AM, Justin R. Timberlake, age 43, of Tennessee, was observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel."
