Goldie Hawn has expressed her interest in creating a film project featuring her famous family.

In a recent interview, the Overboard actress shared her vision of working alongside her husband, Kurt Russell, and her children, Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson, and Wyatt Russell.

During her appearance on the Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast, Hawn discussed her family film aspirations. “What I would love, actually — before we all get too old — [it] would be so great to do a movie together,” Hawn said. “Wouldn’t it? It would be so fun and so crazy and oh, my God.”

The idea came up after podcast host Kelly Ripa suggested that Hawn and her family should consider starring in a reality show. Hawn, however, mentioned an alternative project involving animation. “We might do something with Oliver that is a cartoon, so in other words, we would all be the voices of that,” Hawn said. “That would be a lot of fun.”

Hawn has had an illustrious film career, winning an Oscar for her role as Toni Simmons in the 1969 film Cactus Flower, directed by Gene Saks. She received another Academy Award nomination for her performance in the 1980 film Private Benjamin, where she played Judy Benjamin.

In 2018, Hawn appeared as Mrs. Claus in the Netflix movie The Christmas Chronicles, starring opposite her life partner, Kurt Russell, who played Santa Claus. Oliver Hudson also had a role in this Christmas comedy. Hawn and Russell reprised their roles in The Christmas Chronicles 2, which premiered in 2020.
