Rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has recently captured attention with a surprise performance at a wrestling ring in Tokyo, Japan, and rumours of an upcoming live show in South Korea.
According to Rolling Stone, speculation about an Asian tour by the 'Donda' rapper intensified after his creative director, Austin Taylor, was seen in the Gangnam and Ilsan areas.
Taylor reportedly visited several venues, including Incheon and Goyang Stadium, to assess their suitability for live performances. This has led to understanding that preparations for a South Korean tour are in "full swing."
Industry officials, as cited by the magazine, indicated that the tour could commence as early as this year, though specific dates and details remain undisclosed. There is also talk of opening a YEEZY pop-up store in South Korea to complement the tour.
Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting 'Vultures 2,' the anticipated follow-up to the successful 'Vultures,' the debut album by Kanye West and TY Dolla Sign’s supergroup.
The album was expected to drop in early May, but the release date passed without any updates from the artists. Ye has frequently expressed his excitement to visit Asian countries and connect with his fans on the continent.
