Justin Timberlake still welcome at American Hotel despite DWI arrest
Justin Timberlake’s DWI arrest has not tarnished his reputation in the Hamptons.
The American Hotel in Sag Harbor, where he dined before the arrest, stated his legal issues would not affect his future bookings.
According to TMZ, Timberlake was dining with friends at the hotel on Monday night before being arrested for allegedly driving drunk. He told police he had only one martini before driving.
Ted Conklin, the owner of The American Hotel, told TMZ that Timberlake remains welcome at the establishment, praising him as a "great guest and a nice guy." The hotel, located in a popular area for celebrities, respects their clients' privacy and has no plans to ban Timberlake.
Reports suggested to TMZ that the 'SexyBack' singer was intoxicated and drinking others' beverages at the bar, but Conklin denied the hotel overserved him, emphasising that the staff acted appropriately.
Timberlake was pulled over in his grey BMW SUV after running a stop sign and swerving on the road. Despite his claim of having only one drink, police noted he smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech, and bloodshot eyes.
Timberlake spent the night in jail before his release on Tuesday morning. His court date is set for July 26, and the hotel remains ready to accommodate him if needed.
