Jessica Biel films new show in NYC as Justin Timberlake arrested in Hamptons

Jessica Biel spent Monday working on her new show in New York City, just hours before her husband, Justin Timberlake, was arrested in the Hamptons for driving under the influence.

TMZ reported that the actress was photographed in NYC filming the TV adaptation of Alafair Burke's novel 'The Better Sister,' alongside Elizabeth Banks and Corey Stoll. Ironically, the new show is a crime thriller, which now feels particularly relevant following Timberlake's arrest.

Jessica's filming location was not far from where Justin's arrest occurred, explaining why Timberlake was in the area. The singer was pulled over by police late Monday night after allegedly running a stop sign and swerving on the road. According to TMZ sources, Justin failed a field sobriety test, leading to his arrest.

Timberlake spent the night in custody and was arraigned and released without bail on Tuesday morning.

Jessica has not yet commented on her husband's DWI arrest, but she recently honored him on Father's Day with a heartfelt Instagram post. Biel, who shares sons Silas and Phinneas with Timberlake, praised the NSYNC alum as their family's "rock."
