Taylor Swift praises Liverpool crowd at during Eras Tour
Taylor Swift expressed her admiration for Liverpool during her second Eras Tour performance at Anfield Stadium in England.
In a video shared on X, she commended the "beautiful" crowd in attendance.
"I just want to say, on an individual basis, this is one of the most expressive, genuine, generous, beautiful crowds I've ever gotten to play for," Swift began. "I've made so many best friends out here tonight, you have no idea."
"I'm so lucky to get to play a show with people like you wanting to come to it. Thank you so, so, so much for that. I love you Liverpool. Thank you," she added.
During Swift's second show in Liverpool, she included a rendition of the 2016 hit “This Is What You Came For” by Rihanna and her ex Calvin Harris. This marked the first instance during the Eras Tour where she performed a song in her acoustic “surprise song” set that was not originally released under her name.
A video posted on X showed her talking to the crowd ahead of performing the track, telling them, “Every single time I have an acoustic set, I’m always trying to think of things you might want to hear — maybe things that might be a little bit unexpected,”
She said, “Let’s see how we did tonight.”
