Brawl breaks out among Celtics fans after blowout loss to Mavericks
Several Boston Celtics fans brawled at a watch party on Friday night following the team's blowout loss to the Dallas Mavericks in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
The Celtics, who had a chance to sweep the Finals, were defeated 122-84 as the series now stands 3-1 Celtics.
Tensions erupted at the TD Garden, with video footage showing a fan in a Paul Pierce jersey throwing punches at a fellow supporter in a green T-shirt. The Pierce jersey-wearer knocked the other fan to the ground and hit him at least ten times before being pulled away by a fan in a zip-up hoodie. Another fan intervened, leading to further altercations.

Security and other fans stepped in to deescalate the situation. The fan in the green T-shirt, helped to his feet, swung at an uninvolved supporter, resulting in both men falling and further scuffling.
Boston's loss to Dallas, their first in over a month, was marked by a 61-35 halftime deficit. The 38-point defeat ranks as one of the most lopsided in NBA Finals history. Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 29 points, while Boston's Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown struggled, shooting a combined 7-22.
The Celtics and their fans look forward to redemption in Game 5 on Monday as the series returns to Boston.
