Theo James recalls an embarrassing incident during his music career.
Actor Theo James shared a challenging experience from his former music career during an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show." James, known for his roles in "The White Lotus" and the "Divergent" series, discussed an incident when he was performing with his London-based band, Shere Khan.
James recounted to Clarkson a particularly difficult performance where he was hit with a bottle of urine. "I wanted to be a rockstar," James said. He described the event as "a strange, sweaty, horrible gig" and attributed the incident to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. According to James, the audience had become irate and tipsy due to the previous act running late, leading to the unfortunate event.
This was not the only on-stage mishap James faced. He also shared an incident where his foot got trapped in unstable equipment, resulting in an injury that required him to take a brief break from performing. "I’ve had lots of things go wrong," he admitted.
Currently, Theo James is promoting Netflix's "The Gentlemen," an adaptation of Guy Ritchie's 2019 movie. In a recent interview on TODAY, James discussed his early aspirations in music and how he transitioned to acting, partly influenced by attending auditions with his girlfriend at the time.
