Federal govt must prioritise Sindh in development plans: CM Sindh

Shah calls for equitable development schemes, demands inclusion in development initiatives

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah emphasized the need for the federal government to consider Sindh as an integral part of Pakistan and to provide it with necessary development schemes.

During a post-budget press conference at the Sindh Assembly, Shah revealed that the total budget for the province stands at 3.056 trillion rupees. He expressed a commitment to completing development projects, stating that the focus will be on growth in the coming year without neglecting current projects.

The CM highlighted that 60 billion rupees have been allocated for the development budget, with a total of 956 billion rupees set aside for various development programs.

He criticized the caretaker government and the federal administration for discontinuing the development schemes initiated by the elected government.
