American Pie alum Jason Biggs recalls close call of having to explain 'American Pie' scene to son

Jason Biggs admitted he's trying to delay the discussion about the film's more adult content for as long as possible

Actor Jason Biggs, known for his role in the 1999 teen comedy "American Pie," shared to Us Weekly an anecdote about a near-miss encounter with his son, Sid, that could have led to an awkward conversation.

Biggs recounted an incident where a passerby shouted "pie f--ker" in reference to the film's infamous scene, leaving him worried that his son might overhear and require an explanation.

Biggs admitted he's trying to delay the inevitable discussion about the film's more adult content for as long as possible, stating, "I'm trying to put it off as long as possible. They’re not there yet."

Despite the potential awkwardness surrounding the film's legacy, Biggs is enthusiastically celebrating the 25th anniversary of "American Pie" by partnering with EDWARDS Desserts to launch a limited-edition "Anniversary Apple Pie."

He also filmed a family-friendly reimagining of the pie scene for a new commercial campaign.

The actor encourages fans to participate in a contest to win an Edwards pie and "American Pie" memorabilia.
