Exciting news for fans of the CoHo clan and "It Ends With Us"! Blake Lively and Colleen Hoover announced that the film adaptation of the bestselling 2016 novel will stay true to the original book.
The actress and author kicked off the Book Bonanza event in Grapevine, Texas, alongside their "It Ends With Us" costar Brandon Skelnar.
In a discussion led by Entertainment Tonight, Lively expressed that whether you read the book before or watch the movie first, you're sure to enjoy both.
"If you read the book first, I really genuinely believe, and I don't normally promise this, but I believe that you'll love this movie," said the “Gossip Girl” star.
"And then if you see the movie first and then you read the book, you'll love the book. And I think that that's that's the goal of it and I hope that we can accomplish that."
"When you're making a movie, there's all these elements and there's just so many factors and so many things come your way and then you add to it that there's a book on top of it and sometimes things slip in the cracks," she added.
“It Ends With Us” will be released in theaters on August 9.
