Has a new "Invisible String" been woven between Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift?

On Friday, June 14, The Sunday Times Style stirred up excitement online by unveiling the cover of its upcoming issue on Instagram.

The cover showcases a close-up shot of Alwyn, 33, dressed in a blue collared sweater, and the headline, "London Boy: What Joe Alwyn Did Next."

Readers quickly questioned in the comments whether the ‘Kinds of Kindness' actor was aware of the headline, which appears to reference Swift's song "London Boy" from her 2019 album ‘Lover.’

The album was released two years after Alwyn and Swift, 34, were first rumored to be dating and during the peak of their relationship. PEOPLE confirmed that the couple ended their six-year relationship in early April 2023.

The song highlights Swift's affection for the characteristics of a London boy, with lyrics like, "But somethin' happened, I heard him laughin' / I saw the dimples first and then I heard the accent."

Fans have also speculated that the song "So Long London" from her latest album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ references Alwyn. This theory is based not only on the title, given the time they spent together in London, but also on the song's lyrics.

‘Kinds of Kindness' is releasing on June 21.
