Prince William, the Prince of Wales, made a clandestine visit to the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) yesterday afternoon.

The unannounced visit was later revealed in the Court Circular, the official daily record of royal engagements. The entry simply stated, "The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited the Secret Intelligence Service," without providing further details.

The location of the meeting remains undisclosed, though MI6's headquarters are located next to Vauxhall Bridge in south London. Kensington Palace declined to comment on the visit.

This visit is not Prince William's first interaction with intelligence agencies. In 2012, he visited the MI6 HQ with Princess Kate, and he met with intelligence officers just hours before Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. Additionally, in 2019, William spent three weeks working with MI5, MI6, and GCHQ, the Sun noted.

Reflecting on his experience with these agencies, William stated, "These agencies are full of people from everyday backgrounds. But they are doing the most extraordinary work in secret to keep us safe."
