Will Kate Middleton be at Trooping the Colour?
While royals will be out in full force at Trooping the Colour tomorrow, many fans are wondering whether Princess Kate will be in attendance.
Princess Kate announced in an emotional video message that she would step back from public duties to undergo chemotherapy.
This decision came after major abdominal surgery revealed the presence of cancer, contrary to initial beliefs of a non-cancerous condition.
The news left many wondering about her attendance at upcoming royal events, particularly Trooping the Colour.
According to the Daily Express, Kensington Palace has not confirmed Kate’s participation in the event, but an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the traditional RAF flypast remains a possibility if she feels well enough.
However, any attendance would not mark a return to full duties, which will resume only upon medical clearance.
In the interim, any public appearances by Kate would be sporadic.
Earlier this month, Kate missed the Colonel's Review, the final rehearsal for Trooping the Colour, sending a letter of apology to the Irish Guards, where she holds an honorary position, the Daily Express reports.
King Charles, who is also undergoing cancer treatment, will attend Trooping the Colour but will travel in a carriage instead of on horseback.
His engagements are being reviewed on a case-by-case basis, ensuring his health needs are met.
The event serves as the monarch's official birthday celebration, with other royal family members expected to attend.
Trooping the Colour precedes Wimbledon, one of Kate’s favourite events, where she typically appears as patron of the All England Club.
