Govt urged to allow opening of LPG shops
The Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) Distributors Association Hyderabad has urged the government to allow them to resume the sale of LPG, claiming that besides them hundreds of thousands of common people are also suffering because of the closure. The association’s representatives and members held a protest outside Hyderabad Press Club on Thursday.
Later at a press conference the association’s president Nawab Khan claimed that they have given assurances to the local authorities that the safety measures laid down by the Oil and Gas Registration Authority (OGRA) will be followed.
