‘Jurassic World 4’ set to film in Thailand, Malta, and the UK

Filming in Thailand will run from June 13 to July 16, bringing an estimated $18 million.

The upcoming movie "Jurassic World 4," directed by Gareth Edwards and produced by Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Patrick Crowley, will film in Thailand, Malta, and the UK. 

The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Mahershala Ali, and others.

Thailand’s Department of Tourism confirmed the month-long production from June 13 to July 16, with locations including Bangkok, Trang, Phang Nga, Phuket, and Chiang Mai. The shoot is expected to bring THB650 million ($18 million) in economic benefits. Natural Resources and Environment Minister Phatcharavat Wongsuwan emphasized compliance with environmental laws to prevent damage.

Filming in Malta, facilitated by Latina Productions and Malta Film Studios, will occur from July to September, followed by Sky Studios Elstree in the UK. The movie, produced by Kennedy/Marshall, Amblin Entertainment, and Universal Pictures, is set for release on July 2, 2025.

Key crew members include cinematographer John Mathieson and first assistant director Jack Ravenscroft. Universal executives Sara Scott and Jacqueline Garell are overseeing the project.
