Pakistan calls for accountability of Israeli war crimes
Pakistan on Thursday called for holding Israel accountable for its grave crimes in Gaza, urging the global community to enforce an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.
In her weekly media briefing, FO Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch emphasized the necessity of ending the war on the Palestinian people.
Pakistan expressed its support for the recent report by the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem and Israel. The report highlights the Israeli war crimes, including using starvation as a method of warfare, willful killing, targeting civilians, forcible transfer, and torture.

Turning to the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch commemorated the victims of the 1991 Chota Bazaar massacre in Srinagar, marking its 33rd anniversary. She reiterated Pakistan's commitment to providing political, diplomatic, and moral support to the Kashmiri people for a just and peaceful resolution in line with UN Security Council resolutions.
Responding to questions, she also mentioned ongoing discussions between Pakistan and Afghanistan to enhance trade mechanisms, facilitating trade vehicles, drivers, and helpers from both sides.
The spokesperson highlighted the observance of the 33rd anniversary of the Chota Bazaar massacre, where Indian Central Reserve Force personnel killed 32 civilians in Srinagar in 1991. Pakistan continues to seek justice for the victims and remains committed to supporting the Kashmiri cause diplomatically and morally, she added
