Rs2.27b proposed for presidency

The federal government has proposed an allocation of Rs2.27 billion for the presidency in the federal budget for the year 2024-25.
According to the budget documents, Rs1.41 billion has been proposed for the salaries and allowances of the personal staff of the president while Rs860 million for the salaries and allowances of the public office employees of the president.
The federal government has proposed an allocation of Rs4,443 billion for the ministries and divisions in the budget. An amount of Rs4,485 million has been proposed for the Aviation Division, Rs14,383 million for the Airports Security Force and Rs352 million for the cabinet.
The government has proposed Rs3,334 million for the Cabinet Division, Rs18,325 million for the Intelligence Bureau, Rs19,266 million for atomic energy, Rs1,862 million for Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority and Rs1,564 million for Naya Pakistan Housing Development Authority.
Further, the federal government has proposed Rs794 million for the Prime Minister Office Internal, Rs861 million for Prime Minister Office Public and Rs147 million for Prime Minister Inspection Commission.
Meanwhile, Rs750 million has been proposed for Special Technology Zone Authority, Rs9,669 million for the Establishment Division, Rs1,338 million for the Federal Public Service Commission, Rs3,369 million for the National School of Public Policy and Rs1,725 million for the Civil Service Academy.
The federal government has proposed Rs1,010 million for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Division, Rs23,000 million for Pakistan Post Office Department and Rs14,319 million for Federal Government Educational Institution in cantonments and garrisons.
