Man kills cousin’s wife over family feud

A woman was killed and her relative was injured in a shooting incident in the Sawan Garden area of Lohi Bher police station on Wednesday.
Police sources said that the suspect identified as Ahsan came to the house of his cousin Ehsan Ullah of Charsadda and opened fire after an altercation.
The firing left Ehsanullah’s wife Hina Ehsan dead and her brother-in-law Samiullah injured. According to the police, both sides are relatives and belong to Charsada. Preliminary police findings suggested that the shooting followed a domestic dispute. The body was shifted for autopsy and the injured was admitted to a hospital.
In another incident, 20-year-old Kiran of Abbottabad consumed acid in her hostel’s room in the I-8/4 area of the federal capital and was shifted to a hospital in critical condition. The I-9 police said that the victim’s stomach and respiratory tract were washed.
A person was shot and wounded in the limits of the Golra Police Station and was shifted to a hospital.
Meanwhile, citizens were robbed in 14 incidents of street crime and theft in the federal capital.
Police sources said that mobile phone sets and cash were taken from four people at gunpoint in street crime incidents, five houses were robbed and six motorcycles were stolen. These incidents took place in the limits of City, Saddar and Rural Zone police stations.
