5 of a family killed in expressway road crash

A devastating collision on the Expressway in Sikandar Pur, resulted in the deaths of five people, including three children and two women. Three others were injured in the incident and have been hospitalized.
Rescues 1122 sources said a loader rickshaw carrying women and children was traveling on the Expressway near Sikandar Pur in the jurisdiction of Chak Jhumra police station.
A vehicle coming from Faisalabad, struck the rickshaw from behind due to the driver’s negligence and recklessness.
The collision led to the immediate deaths of 42-year-old Razia Bibi, wife of Saleem; 32-year-old Mafia, wife of Amjad; and her three children 4-year-old Dua Fatima, 3-year-old Noor Bibi and 2-month-old son Daud.
The injured, identified as Rehman, Faizan and Amjad, were given first aid by Rescue 1122 personnel before being transported to Allied Hospital.
Police reports indicate that the collision occurred near a cut on the Expressway in Sikandar Pur when the Land Cruiser driver struck the rickshaw.
